'Old' work desk.... (still almost a WOYWW as that's my husband's latest make in the background - it's a cabinet he's building to hold our music system and 600 CDs!!)
The three boxes are my 'Book of Ruination' project and OMG - I love the 'alien skin' technique! (Thank you Andy Skinner!) The stamps are out because I'm also making a birthday card for a friend (why work on one thing when you can work on 4??) I've also spotted another book waiting to be altered lurking in the bottom left corner!
Right, I'm off to look at some WOYWWs!
Bye bye from me!
Wow you have a hubby that does! Lucky you. Looks very neat and tidy! Good to see you have ducks in your life too!
ReplyDeleteHi Sandra
ReplyDeleteYou are lucky having a practical husband.
Happy WOYWW

I am very lucky! My lovely Nick was retired from the Nuclear Power industry due to ill health (Now called 'Stress'). He is an electrician which comes in handy (but I am still waiting for my extension lead!). Part of his therapy was a woodwork class at the local hospital and he took to it like a proverbial! I get a house husband who does the ironing and housework, he get's a crafter.Oh Dear!
DeleteSecond time of trying. Looks nice and tidy, it pays to have dinner guests. xxx
ReplyDeleteYes Mum! All your fault! He He! It's lovely having my space - can't believe I left it so long to sort it out! This room was 'made' last year! Feeling a bit ashamed of myself but boasting proudly now! Just have to keep Ninja Nance out grrrr!
DeleteOh Kathy - If I had the right country cottage I would have ducks, geese, donkeys, Llamas - you name it! Until then I will cherish my ceramic ones! And yup! Hubs is a brilliant DIYer! Think I might start featuring him on the blog!
ReplyDeleteI love your new home for stashly things, it all looks so tidy and organised and pretty!

Um! It's not Cazzy! You can't see what's behind me! I do love my stashly room tho!
DeleteHi Sandra what a gorgeous creative space you have! Love those Japanese paintings you have there. Wish I was on my laptop and not my phone as I want to have a better look round! Thanks for your visit, your comment made me smile. Thanks also for following me MMx #73
ReplyDeleteThank you Maisie! The Japanese paintings came from my step-daughter and read 'Friend' 'Lover' and 'Family' from left to right! On the very far left is an embroidery by my Mum which I adore! It's a heart wreath of flowers. I love WOYWW! Such a lovely way to share!
Deletelovely stashly room! Nice to shut the door and forget about the outside .............

DeleteWhat a great assortment of supplies you have in your stash! I love the look of the book you are looking to alter. I took a course on line last year and alter a number of books myself, how much fun is that??? Great to see your workspace. Cathryn #128
