So did you swipe the stash of beermats or is there someplace to buy that sort of thing? Just curious. :) It looks like you have some interesting projects in the works, enjoy! :) Deeyll #166
The lovely Landlord, Richard, of my local (Red Lion in Sittingbourne High Street - definitely worth a visit if your in the area!!) doesn't use the beer mats that come with the ales so rather than just bin them he keeps them for me! Definitely worth asking your local hostelries!
Thanks for the info! If I'm ever in England? Australia? Sorry...I haven't checked your profile yet! :) But we do have restaurants here, in the States, that use those things, I think they are probably what we call coasters, and I thank you for the suggestion of asking them for extra's. Well, and then I'll have to come back here and "swipe" some of your ideas though, huh? lol :)
I asked the Landlord of my local as he never puts beer mats out as people tend to turn them into litter! He actually gets them with every ale ordered so was more than happy to give me a pack for altering rather than binning them! Definitely worth asking round the local hostelries!
You've got a lot to keep you busy and happy, Sand! I like your idea of altering the coasters (as we call them) rather than having the pub throw them out. I'll have to check with our local places.
Thanks for coming to visit me at the Playhouse! I am happy to return the flavor (although sorry I'm so late in getting around) and meet you! I love the play on names for your blog banner name and the jelly bean background (said I, as I just happened to be munching some!)! Enjoy the rest of your week! Darnell #64
I've never altered a tin before, looking forward to seeing the end results! Maybe you'll show it next Wed? OK, I am asking my WOYWW folks to rally behind me and I truly need your support. I am in a contest and the voting ends today so it's now or never. PLEASE go vote for me, yes, I am begging, lol http://www.genuinelyjanestudios.com/genuinelyblog/gjs-design-a-book-contest-top-three-finalists-announced/ waving hi from the hills of North Carolina ♥
